Whether you’re a teacher seeking a historical location for your students, or a parent looking to entertain your children, there are countless engaging and fun adventures awaiting you.
Angel Island State Park is a spectacular cultural and historic landmark, located only a short ferry ride away from beautiful Tiburon, California. Park hours are 8:00am to sunset everyday. The highest point is Mount Livermore which is 788 feet, and named after Caroline Livermore, a conservationist who helped to create Angel Island State Park. Mount Livermore offers beautiful 360 degree views of the San Francisco skyline, the Marin Headlands, Mount Tamalpais, and the Bay.
The Island has over 13 miles of hiking trails and over 8 miles of biking trails-ranging from beginner to advanced.
On Fridays only, consider taking the kids on a guided tour, either Camp Reynolds or Fort McDowell. Please contact Group Tour Coordinator
