The Marin Convention & Visitors Bureau is the destination marketing organization responsible for promoting Marin County as an overnight destination through marketing programs, collateral materials, trade missions, and partnerships with other industry-related organizations. As the official tourism organization for Marin County, we have a number of digital assets, including photography and footage, inspired by its natural beauty. These assets are for use in promoting Marin County as a travel destination of choice.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Images and videos downloaded from visitmarin.org are intended to promote Marin County as a preferred travel destination worldwide. The Marin Convention and Visitors Bureau (MCVB), through the visitmarin.org website, retains all rights to the MCVB online gallery, including all leased images and videos. All images and video segments are the exclusive property of the MCVB only. Photo credits will be required to use all MCVB-requested images and video unless otherwise noted, and must be placed adjacent to all photographic images. Use in any other way infringes on the photographers' rights.

The MCVB maintains an extensive gallery of quality hi-resolution images and high-definition "A" and "B" roll video footage. Images and video are available for use in non-commercial applications by the media, tour operators, travel agents, meeting and event planners, and industry-related travel organizations.

Use of images contained on this site will be made available to all inquiring parties that agree to the following terms and conditions:

Acceptable Uses:
Brochures, collateral support pieces, illustrations, and related materials for the promotion of Marin County, including all electronic media, websites, or guidebooks.
Editorial coverage by travel and trade media.

Unacceptable Uses:
Use in any paid promotional advertising venue. Promotion in private sector companies such as real estate/relocation services, business investments, or other for-profit projects. Images and videos may not be used on consumer goods, or for fundraisers, charitable organizations, or political organizations.
Any promotional venue that is deceptive, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, or reflects negatively on the MCVB and visitmarin.org.

The MCVB reserves the right to accept or refuse permission to use any image or video for any reason.
