About Us - Tourism Management

The Marin Convention & Visitors Bureau (MCVB) is a private 501-c6 organization funded by a Business Improvement District (BID).  We promote Marin County as an overnight destination through marketing programs, collateral materials, trade missions, and partnership with other industry-related organizations. Our mission is to develop a sustainable visitor base to Marin County, enhance the local economies, and protect the natural resources through responsible promotion.

Mark oversees the administrative and financial activities for the MCVB. He provides staff support for the MCVB Board of Directors, as well as personal supervision and project coordination.

Gina is the contact for Membership, Marin CVB events, Liaison to West Marin lodging and non-lodging members, assists with outreach and press tours, and oversees daily operation of the Marin Visitors Center West in Olema.  She also is responsible for overall business administration, including HR documentation, compliance policies, part-time staff, and has fiduciary responsibilities.

Christine manages and oversees all MCVB sales and marketing efforts; including all group travel and meeting requests, promotions, public relations and media requests for the conference and group industry. She coordinates and represents Marin County at various corporate, incentive, and association tradeshows, monthly meetings, and special events. Christine works closely with the MCVB board of director members, city and county officials, hoteliers and hospitality industry staff in promoting Marin County as an incomparable and unique meeting and leisure travel destination.

Deborah oversees and provides the design and creative development of Marin marketing, collateral materials, and advertising programs. She also acts as Film Liaison to the Marin County Film Resource Office by assisting location scouts with questions on film permits.
