Experience Marin Safely – What’s Open
Now It's Time to Come Back.
We are pleased to announce the re-opening of our state on June 15, 2021.
California has one of the highest covid vaccination rates in the nation. We are now open for business! Please plan ahead for your visit to Marin County. Make dining reservations in advance or call before you go to see if they have availability, arrive early or late to parks and beaches to beat the peak crowds, and remember many businesses might not be not fully staffed yet. Please expect to wear your mask in public places if you are not fully vaccinated. Please practice responsible travel while visiting our destination and we are excited to welcome you back to Marin County.

When going out all residents and visitors will be required to do the following:
Bars, restaurants, movie theaters, museums, spas and salons — any sort of privately owned establishment will be allowed to require masks and/or ask for proof of vaccination. Anyone who is unvaccinated will technically be required to wear a mask indoors. Masks will still need to be worn on all public transit. Everywhere in California and the nation, masks will be required on airplanes, trains, and buses, according to CDC guidance.
