Located in the middle of San Francisco Bay, less than 20 minutes from Tiburon, Angel Island State Park offers spectacular 360-degree views of the San Francisco skyline, Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Headlands, Mount Tamalpais and Tiburon.
There are different ways to experience Angel Island, from taking an open-air tram ride to learn the history and see existing historical structures, visit the Immigration Station Museum, hiking, renting mountain bikes and e-bikes to explore on your own, have lunch at the Café, or purchase To-Go items and have your own picnic on the grounds. Come discover the island for yourself!
The best way to learn about Angel Island is with a Tram Tour. Sit back, relax and enjoy the amazing views while listening to a history-rich audio recording. The Angel Island Tram stops at Battery Ledyard, one of the best photo opportunities in the Bay Area, with the backdrop of the entire skyline of San Franscisco, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
