Tomales Bay, on the coast of Northern California, is our home where we grow, harvest, shuck and share great oysters. We began oyster farming in 1983 with the goal of raising the best quality, sustainable shellfish in a beautiful location.
The Boat Oyster Bar is our outdoor cafe at Hog Island Oyster Farm. We serve a light, seasonal menu of raw and BBQ’d oysters, salads and fresh seafood specials.
All seating is outdoors at communal (shared) tables by the bay where our oysters are grown. Enjoy new friends and share the freshest oyster experience imaginable.
We recommend wearing layers and bringing sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. Our marine weather changes quickly.
Hours of Operation: Reservations required for 1.5 hour bookings from 11:00am – 3:30pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday Only. Please, no outside food permitted.
We are open every day, except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
