    The Cheese School of San Francisco is the only independently owned and operated institution in the nation dedicated entirely to helping people maximize their enjoyment and appreciation of cheese.

    Our philosophy is “eating is learning” and we treat our students to a cornucopia of education and tasting events, both structured and informal. We offer a range of ways to experience cheese. Our yearlong class offerings include delicious cheese tasting and pairing workshops and cheesemaking classes. Our full service catering and private events staff provides unique team building experiences from pizza-making competitions to private classes. We’re a well-established space for hosting special celebrations from weddings, baby showers, birthdays, to anniversaries.

    On the professional side, we offer a unique Three-Day intensive Cheese Education Program perfect for future cheesemongers, chefs, food industry professionals, and serious cheese enthusiasts.

    Through it all, we love creating beautiful experiences around food, specifically cheese both on-site at our Mission location and off-site at offices, special events, and museums, and even the Super Bowl.
