Meet the Great Pumpkin with Chef Amy Brown at the Community Teaching Kitchen

Celebrate the flavors of fall with a hands-on cooking class led by Chef Amy Brown of Marla Bakery. Learn techniques for trimming, roasting, puréeing, and safely preparing seasonal winter squash while creating Pumpkin Curry Soup, Creamy Pumpkin Hummus, and a Pumpkin Tart with Sugared Sage.
Guests will take home recipes and a freshly made pint of pumpkin purée, enjoy a cup of hearty pumpkin soup served with Marla Bakery's signature rustic bread, and sample a slice of pumpkin tart with sugared sage.
Admission is $90 per person. Reservations close September 9, 2026.
