Experience Tomales Bay at golden hour on a guided sunset kayak tour, when the evening light moves across the hills, wildlife settles along the shoreline, and the water takes on a calm, reflective glow.
These relaxed three-hour paddles are designed for guests looking to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the bay as day turns to dusk. Paddle through protected areas of Tomales Bay at an easy pace, with time to pause for wildlife viewing, take in the changing light, and enjoy the quiet of the surrounding shoreline.
No prior kayaking experience is required, and tours are beginner-friendly. Kayaks, paddles, life jackets, basic dry storage, and guide support are provided. Guests should dress in warm layers and bring water-friendly shoes and a jacket for the cooler evening air.
Tours depart from Miller Boat Launch and are offered on select sunset evenings from spring through fall, weather and conditions permitting. Guests must be ages 13 and older.
Tickets start at $125 per person. Private sunset paddles are also available for families, friends, and groups.
