Mind the Gap Summit 2026 at the Mill Valley Film Festival

Celebrate and elevate women and non-binary voices in film during the Mind the Gap Summit 2026 at the Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley. Part of the Mill Valley Film Festival, the annual summit brings the film and local communities together for conversations, networking, mentorship, and creative exchange.
The day begins with Staying Power: Power and Politics at 10:00am, followed by the Mind the Gap Directors Panel at 11:00am. Both panels are free, but tickets are required.
At 12:00pm, join the Mind the Gap Luncheon featuring keynote speaker Cheryl Boone Isaacs. Luncheon tickets are $30 for CAFILM members and $35 for the general public. The day concludes with the Mind the Gap Happy Hour from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, featuring a cash bar.
