Daily Tastings at the Marin French Cheese Shop

Visit the country's oldest cheese company at its historic ranch in West Marin. Stop by the Cheese Shop for complimentary samples of award-winning Marin French Cheese, browse for picnic provisions, and spend some time enjoying the scenic grounds and pond surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful countryside.
Make a day of your visit with a stop at the café, featuring Marin French cheeses throughout a seasonal menu of breakfast items, hot sandwiches, and personal pizzas. The café is open daily from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, with grab-and-go sandwiches and salads also available during regular business hours.
For an easy picnic on the ranch, guests can also reserve a curated picnic basket filled with award-winning cheese, local accompaniments, serveware, and cutlery. Picnic baskets are available for groups of two to eight and can be picked up and returned at the Cheese Shop.
No reservations are required for complimentary cheese samples or individual picnic table use. Groups interested in hosting a gathering on the property should inquire directly with Marin French Cheese Company.
