Step away from the routine and experience the quieter side of West Marin with Point Reyes Adventure Co.’s “Sick Day” Midweek Kayaking Tours on Tomales Bay.

These guided 3-hour kayak tours are designed to help visitors slow down, unplug, and enjoy the beauty of Tomales Bay without the weekend crowds. Each experience includes a coffee and tea bar with local pastries before launch, creating a relaxed start to the day before heading out on the water.

Midweek themes include:

Marshall Mondays – Pair your paddle with oysters, chowder, sandwiches, and soft serve at The Marshall Store.

Tuesday Oyster Bed Tours – Continue the day with a visit to Hog Island Oyster Co. or Tony’s Seafood.

Waterfront Wednesdays – Enjoy a waterfront lunch or drink at Nick’s Cove.

Tasting Thursdays – Continue the afternoon at Heidrun Meadery, known for its sparkling méthode champenoise meads. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic and relax on the property. (Tasting experience not included in tour price.)

Finally Fridays – Relax with brunch or happy hour at Mable’s Restaurant at Lodge at Marconi and explore the surrounding trails and bay views.

Tours are $135 per person and offer a unique way to experience Tomales Bay while supporting small West Marin businesses along the way.
