Sweet, Sour and Fresh: Southeast Asian Summer with Chef Marco Soto at the Community Teaching Kitchen

Discover the vibrant and complex flavors of Southeast Asia in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Marco Soto.
As guests prepare a variety of classic Southeast Asian dishes, Chef Soto will introduce the region’s signature ingredients, including lemongrass, galangal, tamarind, fish sauce, and fresh lime, while sharing techniques and flavors that make these cuisines so distinctive and memorable.
Participants will prepare and enjoy Green Papaya Salad, Fresh Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Malaysian Chicken Satay, and Cool & Spicy Vermicelli Noodles during class. Guests will also take home a jar of Malaysian Satay Sauce and nước chấm.
Chef Marco Soto brings experience from fine dining, family restaurants, and corporate catering, and previously taught cooking classes for Sur La Table before becoming Head Chef for The Key Room catering program.
Tickets are $95 per person.
