Summer Berry Desserts with Chef Dave Leyva at the Community Teaching Kitchen

Celebrate the flavors of summer with a hands-on dessert class focused on fresh, seasonal berries and elegant homemade sweets.
Guests will learn how to create a variety of berry-inspired desserts that are simple enough for everyday entertaining while still impressive for special gatherings. Throughout the evening, participants will make and enjoy Roasted Strawberry Granita with Basil Syrup, Raspberry and Almond Dacquoise, Eton Mess, and Blueberry Buttermilk Crumb Cake. Each guest will also take home their own crumb cake to share.
The class is led by Chef Dave, who has worked as both a chef and pastry chef in notable restaurants and has taught at institutions including The Culinary Institute of America, Copia, and the original Williams-Sonoma store. He now oversees the Community Teaching Kitchen program.
Tickets are $95 per person.
