Novato Fourth of July Parade

Celebrate Independence Day at the 2026 Novato 4th of July Parade, a beloved community tradition bringing festive floats, marching bands, entertainment, and hometown spirit to downtown Novato.
This year’s theme, Semiquincentennial, honors the nation’s 250th anniversary with a lively parade showcasing local organizations, performers, community groups, and creative displays along Grant Avenue. Whether attending as a longtime local or first-time visitor, guests are invited to enjoy one of Novato’s most cherished annual celebrations.
The parade begins at 10:00 am at Grant Avenue and Reichert Avenue and continues along Grant Avenue to 7th Street. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy free pre-parade entertainment beginning at 9:00 am.
Guests are welcome to bring chairs for sidewalk viewing. Please note that chairs must remain on the sidewalk and animals are not permitted, except for official support animals.
