Golden Gate Bridge closure for Fourth of July Fireworks

Celebrate America's 250th birthday with a special fireworks display launched from the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. This marks only the third time fireworks have been launched from the bridge itself. The fireworks display is scheduled for 9:30pm - 9:45pm on Saturday, July 4.
Visitors should plan ahead, as significant traffic congestion is expected throughout southern Marin. The Golden Gate Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic from 8:00pm - 11:00pm, and parking will be extremely limited in popular viewing areas. Delays are expected before and after the bridge closure.
Travelers are encouraged to allow extra travel time and consider public transit, rideshare, walking, or biking when possible.
