Summer Jams with Sallie Miller at the Community Teaching Kitchen

Capture the flavors of summer during a hands-on jam-making class with culinary expert Sallie Miller. Learn time-tested techniques for transforming fresh seasonal fruits and berries into flavorful homemade preserves while exploring cooking methods, canning basics, essential equipment, and creative flavor combinations.
At the end of class, guests will enjoy their freshly made preserves served with warm buttermilk biscuits.

About the instructor: Sallie Miller has spent her career at the intersection of food and hospitality, helping build North Bay food brands, co-owning the former Miracle Plum wine and food shop in Santa Rosa, and currently serving as Director of Social Enterprise for Homeward Bound of Marin.
Tickets are $85 per person. Reservations close August 14, 2026.
