Discover the Redwoods Hike in Mount Tamalpais State Park

Join us for the Discover the Redwoods interpretive hike with docent Eileen Bai in Mt. Tamalpais State Park! Let's take a walk among the Coast Redwoods. We'll journey through time and discuss the important role these trees have played throughout California history. Come learn about some of their unique biological adaptations and how that has made them so valuable to generations in this area.
This hike is FREE but limited to 20 people, first come-first serve.
Distance (mi): 3.3. Elev Gain (ft): 689. Moderate.
What to bring: Wear good hiking shoes/boots. Bring plenty of water, lunch and snacks. Hiking poles are recommended on this mountain.
Cancellation policy: Rain or winds above 30 mph will cancel.
