Date: Sunday, September 1, 2019
You are cordially invited to attend a sunrise guided tour through Muir Woods National Monument! While the early hour may seem uncivilized, if not down-right obscene, sunrise is a particularly beautiful time to visit an old-growth redwood forest. Participants will be introduced to the local plant and animal residents (more likely seen in early morning), all of whom have been invited to stop by and meet you. Participants will also be invited to explore the evolutionary history of Muir Woods and how the community managed to survive the threats posed by an invasive species, namely us.
Reservations required: 415-388-2596
Muir Woods Sunrise Tour is FREE; however, there is a parking fee. This tour is offered every first Sunday of the month.
