Join us for an historical overview, focusing on the period of significance from 1871 to 1933 on the Point Reyes Station Historical Walking Tour! This Historic Walking Tour gives both locals and visitors the opportunity to learn about the town from both a historical and current perspective. Local geography, prehistory and the development of the town by ranchers and railroaders are some of the many interesting topics and stories covered. Tours begin at little blue Visitor's Center next to the historic Grandi building. The tour moves down A Street toward the wetlands, then we venture down some back streets of Point Reyes Station. Explore the route you'll be taking which includes main streets with the interactive map.
Fee: $10 (requested), children 12 and under are FREE. Participants are limited to ten people on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Tours are offered on the third Saturday of each month: July 20, August 17, September 21, October 19.
