Date: Tuesday, October 29, 2019
Time: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Phone: (415) 338-3700
Take advantage of a unique opportunity to tour the inside of SF State’s marine science lab with the scientists and students, and learn first-hand about their research. See our beautiful and historic bayfront site tucked away on the Tiburon Peninsula, suit up like a scientist in a lab coat and safety glasses to go "behind the scenes" in our laboratories, and “Be a Diatom!”
Attendees will be escorted through the labs in small groups of 10 or less, to be assigned upon check-in. Tours will be continous from 3:30-5:30, but guests arriving at 5:00pm may have a shortened tour. PLEASE NOTE: children must be at least 10 years old to attend.
Explorer Days is a program of the Bay Area Science Festival, an annual celebration of Bay Area science for all ages. For more information, visit www.bayareascience.org .
