Date: Thursday, August 1, 2019
Time: 9:00am-5:00pm
Marin Center invites you to the Friends of Marin Center Gallery for Tricia George exhibit "Relationships", on display August 1-October 10. Tricia George has been painting professionally for over 30 years. Her career began in New York where she worked as a decorative artist after earning her degree in Art and Education from Dowling College. Tricia drew inspiration from wildlife and the natural world. In 2004, she moved to California to further her career as an artist. Her new environment surrounded her with new inspirations and transformed her art, while simultaneously creating new opportunities to exhibit her talent.
Her subject matter focuses primarily on wildlife. After moving to California and experiencing a whole new catalog of wild birds and animals, Tricia’s work was significantly transformed. Over the last decade, Tricia has been focusing on her own paintings and teaching her techniques to others in her studio in San Rafael, California. This focus has led her to a new passion to publish children’s picture books.
The Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm and select weekends.
