Date: Saturday, November 3, 2018
Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Phone: (415) 663-1200
Instructor: David Wimpfheimer
Many people enjoy the abundance and bird diversity at Limantour Estero, Bolinas Lagoon, and other West Marin sites, but some of the rich habitats that can be found in the eastern side of the county are less appreciated. On this class we will focus on the nearly restored Hamilton Field Wetlands, which has some of the finest shore birding in Marin. In addition the outing will also seek out birds in sites such as Bel Marin Keyes, China Camp State Park, and Pickleweed marsh. This class will focus on bird identification and distribution.
