Join us at Martin Griffin Preserve for a Nature Exploration focusing on Ferns and Flowers. Learn about the wonders of nature and hike through redwoods, mixed evergreen forests, coastal scrub, and enjoy sweeping vistas of the Bolinas Lagoon and Pacific Coast.
Martin Griffin Preserve is open for exploration every Saturday from May 5 to July 28! Experience Audobon Canyon Ranch's Martin Griffin Preserve which encompasses 1,000 acres in West Marin, protected in perpetuity since 1962 as a wildlife sanctuary. Explore mixed evergreen forests that blanket slopes overlooking the Bolinas Lagoon and open hillsides supporting grasslands and coastal scrub, while freshwater habitats nestle in canyon floors. The preserve is home to more than twentyfive species of mammals, over ninety species of landbirds, thirteen species of reptile, and eight species of amphibian.
