ANNOUNCING our Target Dates for NIGHTTIME TELESCOPE VIEWING for the upcoming months. (Dates are subject to change or be cancelled due to inclement weather or poor visibility.) Viewing times are from about 7p - 10pm - nighttime; 12-4pm - daytime: 
9/2- daytime AND night time viewing
9/30- daytime AND night time viewing
10/28- daytime AND night time viewing (International Observe the Moon Night)

Telescopes will be set up in the plaza outside the museum. Dress appropriately, it can get cold.

* Telescope clinics are available at daytime viewings, except Solar Sundays. Bring your own telescope and have an expert teach you how to use it or troubleshoot problems!

Telescopes are provided through museum volunteers and members of the San Francisco Amateur Astronomers. (Please note that at times there may be a volunteer emergency which could cancel the viewing at the last minute.) Thank you for your continued support. We hope to see you at the Museum!
