Marin Center invties you to their Marin Speakers Series featuring Alan Alda. Actor, writer, science advocate and director are just a few of Alan Alda's many job titles. Best known as Hawkeye Pierce on M*A*S*H, he has evolved as an activist for feminist and scientific causes, founding the Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University where he uses his expertise to help scientists communicate more effectively to the public.

The Marin Speaker Series is comprised of eight lectures in a season, from September to March. The Marin Speaker Series is a part of the largest community lecture series in the United States. Speakers are chosen on the basis of their extraordinary (usually lifetime) achievements and unique expertise in their particular field. 

Ticket information: the series is sold on a subscription basis only $539 (Orchestra), $419 (Dress Circle). Tickets to individual events are not available.
