Marin Center invties you to their Marin Speakers Series featuring Bill Bryson. Best-selling author Bill Bryson is one of the world's most beloved and prolific commentators, finding delight in the minutiae of travel and the subtleties of culture. He has chronicled everything from hiking the Appalachian Trail in the immensly popular A Walk in the Woods, named one of TIME Magazine's All-Time 100 Best Nonfiction Books, to capturing the nuances of being an American transplant in England.
The Marin Speaker Series is comprised of eight lectures in a season, from September to March. The Marin Speaker Series is a part of the largest community lecture series in the United States. Speakers are chosen on the basis of their extraordinary (usually lifetime) achievements and unique expertise in their particular field.
Ticket information: the series is sold on a subscription basis only $539 (Orchestra), $419 (Dress Circle). Tickets to individual events are not available.
