Come shake it out with Bay Area icons Bob Sarlatte, Joe Fonzi and Bill Russell plus a 12-piece All-Star Band! Playing classic ’60s and ’70’s rock ‘n’ soul hits, with a few originals mixed in, a BJR show is a must-see. Expect lots of dancing, too much fun, and no shortage of banter from Sarlatte.

Bob has appeared in or “voiced” over 5,000 radio and television commercials and cartoons and also guested in series work on NBC’s Night Court and ABC’s Match Game. He co-hosted the PBS comedy series Comedy Tonight, and has had roles in the movies Star Trek IV, So I Married an Ax Murderer, EdTV and Flubber. Also a skillful singer, Bob fronted “Butch Whacks and the Glass Packs” was a member of the entertainment phenom Butch Whacks and the Glass Packs.
Joe Fonzi has been a KTVU sports anchor since the 1980s. In fact, he’s covered even more Niners game than Sarlatte, as a play-by-play radio announcer and TV sportscaster. Fonzi has been playing the drums since his college days and finally returns to his drummer roots with BJR and the All-Star Band.
