The Art of Filmmaking
Rafael Film Club

Marin County’s cinematic legacy makes it an incomparable location to explore the art of film. The Rafael Film Club’s Art of Filmmaking series returns with an homage to international films of the mid-1950s to mid-1960s, with each Thursday afternoon screening featuring a filmmaker or film historian for a lively conversation after the screening, plus a private cocktail reception after that. Spring Wood-Fired Pizza Class

The Spring Wood-Fired Pizza Class at The Cheese School of San Francisco brings executive chef Jocelyn VanLandingham to a hip San Francisco location to go deep into gourmet wood-firing pizza techniques you can use even if you don’t have a wood oven. Both days’ courses are held at Novato’s Marin Museum of Contemporary Art (MarinMOCA), where exhibits are always free and donation-based, providing plenty of inspiration before or after your painting class.
