China Camp State Park
A Chinese shrimp-fishing village thrived on this site in the 1880s. Today China Camp Village offers a walk through of the house museum describing early Chinese settlement. This park has a natural watershed along the shores of San Francisco Bay with an extensive intertidal salt marsh and fifteen miles of hiking trails and wildlife, including deer, squirrels and numerous birds.
