The Cheese School of San Francisco invites you to their class American Classics: From Cheese to Shining Cheese. Not subject to the regulations and tradition of Europe, American cheesemakers have developed new flavor profiles and mash-up cheese recipes that can be described as "American Originals." But what takes cheese from being a passing fad to becoming an American classic? Author and turophile Janet Fletcher will take you on a cross-country trip to showcase those American cheeses that stand the test of time and continue to delight palates from coast to coast.
Class Fee: $85 per person
Registration available online. Class registrations (and payment) must be made in advance.
